Aggregate Textured Glass. The biggest Aggregate brother in our Classic Collection Organic Series (see: Quarry, Composite) is Aggregate textured glass. Where subtlety was the previous theme, intensity now reigns. The highest density version of our bubble-like texture fills the glass from end to end, creating a teeming, abundant design. Providing solid light transmission and a high opacity level, Aggregate is perfect for any creative partition glass needs. Our handmade kiln-formed glass can be safety tempered or resin laminated, is antimicrobial, and is very easy to clean. Specifically, Aggregate has been mainly featured in Glass Doors, but can be used in a variety of functions.

Aggregate Textured Glass for Glass Countertops

Nathan Allan’s Aggregate Textured Glass is an extremely popular selection of our talented interior designer clients. This glass is often used in wall, partition and door applications. However, it is also our most popular texture for thick glass countertops and glass bar tops. The uniqueness, durability, and deep texture on the bottom surface, creates a stunning thick glass appearance. Matching textured edges are also formed, and are an original, exclusive design feature of Nathan Allan. Our Thick Glass Countertops are also produced in low iron glass and available in various textures. Color finishes are often added to enhance the textures or to match a color palette in the space.

The video to the right demonstrates how our kiln formed textures appear on each side of a panel. There isn’t a wrong or right side when choosing which surface will be the front surface. It really comes down to your personal preference. In fact, when you stand a few feet away from either side of the glass, the glass looks almost identical from either side The textured surface will show the texture in more detail, with very limited reflection. The smooth surface shows a more shiny glass surface with limited, added reflection.
